Complaints

Your anaesthetists and the administration staff at Greenslopes Anaesthesia Services want to provide you with the best care and support possible. Undertaking a medical procedure, no matter how “minor” for you or a loved one, can be a period of stress and uncertainty. To help you, there is general information about anaesthesia and preparation for procedures contained on this website and on the website for the Australian Society of Anaesthetists. If you have specific queries that are not covered by this information , you are welcome to contact the support team via email or call between 7:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday on 07 3847 4477

As part of the on-going commitment to your care, your feedback (positive and negative) on the service and support provided to you is welcome. You may receive a survey from your anaesthetist after your procedure and you are encouraged to complete this survey so the actions of your anaesthetist and the administration team can be guided by your experience.

If you have an issue or area where you feel the service or support was not appropriate, we would like to hear from you so the matter can be addressed. Greenslopes Anaesthesia Services has a Complaints Management Policy to ensure your concerns regarding your anaesthetist or the administration team are managed in a transparent, timely manner. The team will work with you to understand and resolve your concerns.

In the first instance, please send an email to the General Manager of Greenslopes Anaesthesia Services with your contact details and details of your concern. If your concern relates to a clinical matter, the details will be forwarded to the relevant anaesthetist. For all administration matters, the Greenslopes Anaesthesia Services team will attempt to resolve your concern within 2 days. If this is not possible, you will be provided with an update within two days and the steps being taken to resolve your concern. You can remain anonymous if you wish.
